Customer reviews rave about the array of products available, though some note a desire for more fresh produce. • Convenience: While parking can be challenging in the bustling Chinatown area, there are garages within walking distance, making your shopping trip a breeze.
  • Competitive Pricing: A $20 minimum for credit card transactions might be a slight inconvenience, but the low prices and frequent promotions on Asian staples make it worthwhile.

As you wander through the aisles, you’ll find a well-curated assortment of canned goods, snacks, frozen meats, and seafood. Although fresh meat and live seafood aren’t available, the frozen selections are adequate for most culinary needs. It’s this careful selection that makes New Asia Supermarket a must-visit for both novice cooks and experienced chefs seeking those elusive ingredients that make a dish truly sing.

3.5 stars. Spacious store with a large selection of dry and frozen groceries. $20 minimum for credit card transactions, else a $1 surcharge. I wish they had more fresh produce, but you can find plenty of those outside at nearby produce markets. It's certainly not nearly as big as 99 Ranch or HMart, but it might be the biggest in this neighborhood.

First time here beside when it was a restaurant for dim sum and weddings. Very clean and so much variety. They don't have a butcher or live seafood but they do have frozen meat and seafood. Thanks Kevin for the intro . If you can't find close parking, There is a garage less than half a block down towards grant st which I saw was $5 an hour. The workers are also very helpful and nice too.

Asia Market is located inside New Asia Restaurant in San Frampton Chinatown. The restaurant space now houses a grocery store. It has all of the items found in an Asian market except fresh meat. The place is spacious, and one could spend lots of time just looking at everything. Worth a trip.

A new and pretty good size Chinese market open and replaced the very famous dim sum restaurant in here before for so many years! Nice to see a new business opening up and sad to remember the long-gone dim sum restaurant in the same location! The newly opened Asia Market is bigger than most of the Chinese markets in San Francisco Chinatown. It has more item choices, promotions, and special. Good to have a big Chinese market open in Chinatown. The minute I walked into the front door. I know I'm walked into a former Chinese restaurant. They have kept the huge crystal chandeliers and almost all the decorations of a Chinese dim sum restaurant in this location before! The only change is the tables and chairs are replaced by the shelves and the groceries, canned food, and snacks. The cashiers are fast and polite. The lines are short and moving very quickly! Street parking only as many businesses in the San Francisco Chinatown. A couple of parking garages with a short walking distance!
